When we changed over our website a few months ago, we had a vast number of fantastic images from clients weddings, and we realised if we did not re-blog on the new site, then the images of some wonderful weddings would be lost forever. So with this in mind, today I thought I would begin the task by doing a very short blog on one the most interesting weddings from the ‘early years’ of Lindsay Fleming.

Back in December of 2007 we were contacted by ‘Ivon’, who lived and worked in Dassow, Germany. Ivon had found our Celtic designs while searching for the perfect wedding dress for her up and coming Scottish Wedding, but for one reason or another had left her search rather late. With only four months before the wedding she was rightly concerned that we would not be able to create her dress in time. Add to that, the fact that she was inquiring about ‘Janel’, one of our most intricate designs, and was hoping to come over to Scotland to check out the dress in January before she confirmed. We therefore had quite a task in front of us as it was late January before we could start work on Ivon’s dress.

Eight weeks later we were delighted when, after a short stop at our studio on her way to the wedding, Ivon was thrilled with her dress. She commented, “I can’t believe the perfect fit when I only came once to the studio”. So with her dress safely over her shoulder, off she went with her husband-to-be, for her dream Scottish wedding. A few months later we were delighted to receive by email, images from Ivon’s big day, a few of which we can share with you now.
