In 1947, a young actress-turned-designer named Juli Lynne Charlot designed a dress which several years later would become the iconic teenage dance outfit of the rock ‘n roll era. The puddle skirt was simple to make and was perfect for a evening dancing to Bill Haley and Chuck Berry on the juke box at the local diner.

Lucille has that fifties look to die for. The very full skirt and fully boned strapless top are adorned with hand-tinted guipure lace roses and Swarovski crystals. Shown here in a delicate pink, Lucille is available in a wide range of colours. You can choose how many flowers you would like on your dress, the colour of the tinting, and the quantity of crystals.
