The rock n roll era has many iconic fashions which have stood the test of time. The puddle skirt is one of the most recognisable. It was simple to make and was perfect for a evening dancing to the hits of the Fifties. Lucille has that fifties look to die for, and makes it a perfect ‘Rock n Roll Wedding Dress’ for your fifties inspired wedding.

Our 2011 photoshoot at the fantastic Sera’s House has dozens of fantastic images, but of all the dresses, Lucille came over as the dress oozing ‘fun factor’. Don’t forget, as the dress is made-to-measure, if you’re not a ‘pink’ person, you can have Lucille in just about any colour you wish.

Another Fun Fifties Wedding Dress Day Out

One thing we enjoy at LF Couture is a day out at a photoshoot. And when the inspiration for your latest dress comes from a magazine article on fun fifties wedding dresses, and you are itching to show off the resulting design, then it takes very little excuse to phone up a local hotel, your favourite photographer, and a gorgeous girl, to satisfy your hunger for yet another shoot.

The dress in question was Lucille, the latest dress in The Manhattan Collection, and we hope you agree that Grace has captured the essence of a ‘fun fifties wedding dress’. The very full skirt and fully boned strapless top are adorned with hand-tinted guipure lace roses and Swarovski crystals, and the dress can be made in just about any colour you wish.
