Greta and Mary, off to Devon for a vintage day out.

It seems like a long way do go for a photoshoot, but, hey, how often do you get to go on a ‘partly funded by the taxman’ trip to the glorious county of Devon? So we packed up a few of the dresses in the ‘All That Jazz’ collection into the back of the car, and headed off down the M74 to what hopefully would be warmer climes.

It may have been warmer but it certainly was not drier. Thank heavens the shoot was indoors, because it wasn’t even the weather to be photographing kagools, never mind wedding dresses. The shoot was actually being held close to the village of Mamhead in a grand old country house, a perfect setting for the dresses. It had been organised by Vicky Rowe from Vintage Tea Sets, who specialises in vintage china hire and the styling of antique and vintage tableware dating from the 1820s up to the 1950s. Vicky had pulled together a experienced team for the shoot, including the ever-popular photographer Rosie Parsons, and make-up by Sarah Brock.
