Bette at Voodoo Rooms
Sepia Photoshoot of Lace Vintage Wedding Dress, by Archibald Photography.
Sepia photography, don’t you just love it?
Take a stunning location, a beautiful dress, and a gorgeous model, and remove all the colour from the final photographs. You would think that the image you end up with would lose its impact, become old and tired. But in many cases this could not be further from the truth.
Take the images collected from our wonderful ‘Voodoo Room’ photoshoot in Edinburgh as an example. Our dress Bette, is as 1920 looking a dress as we could make. A gathered lace overskirt on top of a sheer silk dress, with the iconic twenties dropped waist. However there is no mistaking the decade when the images are given the ‘sepia’ treatment.
