Ros & Raasay, the perfect Winter Combination

If there is one Lindsay Fleming dress which cries out ‘Winter Wedding’ then that dress is most likely to be ‘Ros‘ from our ‘Celtic Spirit Collection‘.  We have been supplying the design since our company started back in 1997, and we have lost count of how many different colours and variations Ros has appeared in around the world.

The design is also one of the most popular we have when it comes to being chosen for photoshoots, with the most recent photographer to enquire being Duncan Holmes.  Based in the Scottish west coast town of Largs, Duncan who is originally from Yorkshire has a real love of photographing weddings.  On his website Duncan quotes, ”being a hopeless romantic, I think I was probably destined for this line of work”, and you can see from the images just how true that statement is.

When Duncan approached us to see if we would be happy to lend a few dresses we were of course delighted to help.   It is always a pleasure to have our designs photographed by yet another excellent photographer, and having seen the final images we are delighted with the outcome.  Especially since we were able to get a few shots of our cape design, ‘Raasay‘, which very rarely gets a chance to have fun along with her more well known ‘cousins’.

On the day of the shoot, Duncan took the dresses to Cornhill House Hotel near Biggar, and along with the skills of Midlothian based hair and make-up artist Dawn Weston, and lovely models Fiona and Rachael, he proceeded to create a great collection of images.
